PROOF THAT PRAYER WORKS

March they say it's a month of marching forwards. Okay, I wanted to crack a joke but I don't know what else to say to make it funny. Hahaha

So all through this month I focused on this prayer, God make my life proof that prayer works. And the Holy Spirit helped me to access the mind of God on this subject. So here it is ;

If you ask me these questions

• Can prayer be trusted?
  

The literal meaning of this to me, is that can God be trusted? So let's do it this way, permit me to start by asking you some questions.

• To whom do you pray?
• Do you believe in the scriptures?
• Why do you feel that prayer doesn't work?

If you are praying to God, then it's a good start for this discussion, and you believe in the scriptures cause this is where the proof that prayer work lies.

 I believe prayer works because countless times in the scriptures the lives of different people show that it does work

Does your current situation say otherwise? Do you feel the things you have as proof that prayer works are mere things those not in the faith also achieve effortlessly?

This does not mean your result is not your result. Know that some also prayed for the same thing but did not have it, so your result is your result 

We don't say prayer works because we got what we prayed for and someone else doesn't.

The primary reason for prayer I will say is to know the heart of God and walk in his wisdom, fellowshipping and accessing his wisdom. Sometimes prayer may not change a situation, it will just give you the capacity and spiritual strength to go through a particular situation.

• What is your definition of a result of prayer?

Sometimes what we call results may not be what God calls results but there's no time we pray that our prayers don't achieve something both physically and spiritually.

When we compare our results with those, not in the faith and we feel they easily achieve the things we prayed for and have yet to receive, for example, things like career success, academics, and relationships.

Often on these basic and practical things, some believers fail to understand that there are commemorative actions to be taken to get results. When you pray, you access God's mind which helps you to achieve the result you desire with ease. This does not mean you just pray and do nothing afterward.

Remember that God is faithful, He keeps to his word. As he said a thing and it cometh not to pass, none of his word return to him voids you know?

Deuteronomy 32:4 

He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.

Keep holding up, he said you should ask and you will be given so I believe in due time he will show up and the wait will be worth it in the long run.
